Zebra!!! :D

Well, this week I was hanging out with some friends and the question "out of all the animals in the world which would you want as a pet" came up! (NOT including dog, cat, horse, or fish) Some of the answers were cool like lion, tiger, panda bear, and flamingo... OTHERS answers were a little strange like dinosaur, puffer fish, and Kevin (bird from the Disney movie UP). It took me a little while to decide on just ONE animal as I am a HUGE animal fan, but I finally came up with the answer I had been looking for...ZEBRA like a horse BUT not a horse! Then I thought "WAIT is a Zebra REALLY that similar to a horse???" So, I looked up some facts to prove that Zebras and Horses maybe AREN'T as similar as we thought they were! Here are the 4 main differences....

My best friend got a pony last week and I love him! I've ALWAYS loved horses and ponies, (my room has a HUGE horse painted on the wall), but lately I have had a VERY sudden interest in horses! ;-)  I found some REALLY fun facts about horses! Check them out!

A horse typically sleeps two and half to three hours a day

Horses lie down only about 43.5 minutes a day

There is a Russian breed of horse that can go for DAYS without food or water

Field Trip :D

I'm gonna go on a FIELD TRIP tomorrow! My fam doesn't do field trips TOO often so this is big! ;) My dad has been planning this day for a long time! We are all gonna pile in the van and drive around our town... I know it sounds BORING but here comes the cool/interesting part! My dad has researched the history of our area... I guess in the 1800s one of the CONNERS owned the property that my house is on! (the name Conner might sound familiar - CONNER PRAIRIE). 

ALSO, the FIRST white woman (as in non-Native American) to live in Madison County is buried right by my house! So, we are gonna drive by there and see some REALLY old graves! (My friend Steph would LOVE it) ;-) My dad has some other interesting old landmarks to show us that were around when "Chief Anderson" was still living here... (along with other Indians who lived in tipi's and grew their own veggies and had to hunt for food with bows and arrows). I really do not know how they SURVIVED! Lol! I will tell you all more about it when we get back! I should have some VERY interesting facts to report! :D

Well, tonight's plan is nothing really special... EXCEPT for the supper I intend to eat! We are having Chinese! :D General Tso's chicken with fried rice! :D SCORE!!! Chinese food is the BOMB! ;-) Other than that, tonight is just the usual... watch some sort of movie, eat popcorn, make a dessert (really hope tonight is BROWNIES)... etc! It's always fun chillin with my Fam! ;-)

Well, a lot has happened in the past 2 weeks! To start with... I SPENT 200 DOLLARS IN 2 WEEKS!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D I also saw the movie Tangled for the first time... It was so cute! I MAY be 13... BUT I am NEVER too old for Disney movies! ;-)

HERE COMES THE REAL NEWS!

I GOT A UKULELE YESTERDAY!!!! :D :D :D I have been wanting one FOR A LONG TIME! My first song I am learning is I Do by  Colbie Caillat!!!! It is a really cool song! Once I get it down I will probably record myself playing and singing it and post it! :) I love making music! IT IS MY PASSION!!!!! :D :) :D :) :D :)

BUTLER GAMEEEE!

I am watching the Butler game with my fam... a bowl of popcorn at hand and brownies in the oven! :D You all should be proud of me for watching the game, I don't have the patience to watch sports... I guess I would rather play them! :D Speaking of playing sports VOLLEYBALL SEASON IS LESS THEN 3 MONTHS AWAY!!!!! Oh yaaaaaa! I am MOSTLY excited for tryouts!!!! :D The nerves, the excitement, the FRIENDS!!!! Summer is the life for me! :D :D :D :D

Anyways, Saturday night I watched the movie Eragon... It came out in 2008 or something... I can't believe I hadn't seen it before!!!! ;-) It was a really good movie! NOT as good as L.O.T.R. or anything... but still good!!!

Weekend MADNESS!!!!!!

Well, I am VERY excited for tomorrow, because IT IS MY 13th BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Yesssssss! :D :D :D
I am 13 at last! :D To celebrate the occasion I'm going SHOPPING ALL DAY in Fort Wayne TOMORROW!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D We are going to have an awsome time! There is a really cool store in the mall called Archivers, and it is a whole store devoted to SCRAPBOOKING!!! So, we are going there to scrapbook and shop for more supplies in their NEVER ENDING store full of scrapbook paper, tools, stickers...ETC. :D Fun stuff, let me tell you! :D :D :D

Now, it is time for me to sit down with my family with a bowl of popcorn and watch some FRED ASTAIRE!!!!!! :D You just have to LUVVVV that man! :D ;-) :D ;-)

SPRINGGG IS HEREEE!!!! :D

Well, as you can tell by this blog post title... I am UBERLY excited that spring is hereeee! I've been WAITING for this day for what seems like AGES!!! :D Now that spring is here, I can have a lot more fun with my life! For example: after I am done with school, practicing my violin, cleaning my room (it seems like I have to do that EVERY day), and listening to my music, (that is a MAJOR priority) I can do ANYTHING I want!!!! I could, go and play volleyball, take my dog for a walk, jog, have a picnic in the backyard, and TAKE PICTURES OUTSIDE!!!!!! My sister and I have been wanting to do that for a LONG TIME, but due to cold whether... we thought otherwise!!! LOL! So, since I have been so enthusiastic about SPRING, I decided I would write a haiku about it!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Weekend FUNNNN! :-D

Hi ya'll! I've had a VERY exciting weekend! ;-) Friday night I went to a friend's birthday party and had A LOT of fun hanging out and playing the Wii game Just Dance!!!!!!!! Then, we all watched the movie Despicable Me!!!! It's such a cute movie!!!! Anyways, the HIGHLIGHT of my WHOLE week was when my friends and I PULLED AN ALL NIGHTER! We stayed up all night Friday!!! Then, at 8:00 AM Saturday, we all were so tired that we fell asleep watching a movie! :D

After spending Saturday afternoon at home, Alyssa and I went out to Real Hacienda with some friends, Jeff, Brady, and Kaitlyn! Afterwards, we went to Jeff's house and played some games! FUN! :-)

Right now I am watching A Series of Unfortunate Events! (again) It's such an awsome movie! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Steph, for introducing me to this coolness movie! ;-)    

Wisconsin Trip! :D

WELL, the reason why I haven't been blogging too much these past couple of weeks is because sometimes my life's schedule gets in the way of BLOGGING! (Man, it's hard to believe that it's been almost TWO WHOLE WEEKS since my last post!)   
Anyways, I just got back from WISCONSIN and had a blast with my cousins who live there! We went shopping, ate, and had PARTIES every night till 12:00 AM! One of the movies we watched was an old black and white film, Frank Capra's You Can't Take it With You with Jimmy Stewart! I luvvvv old movies like that!

Movie Watching, Blogging, Eating! :D

 My friend, Steph, just reminded me that I haven't written a blog post in a while... I guess you could say that my life has been SO busy, I forgot about blogging!!!! :D How is that even POSSIBLE? Lol!


A LOT has happened since I wrote last... I'll fill you all in! ;-) Well, one of the HIGHLIGHTS of my week has been buying David Archuleta's book, Chords of Strength, off of Amazon! I am so EXCITED for it to get here!

Now, I am watching Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring and eating grapes...(random) Oh, that is another thing I can't wait for....THE HOBBIT!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well, just when I thought that sickness was out of the house...my bro gets sick with strep throat!!
At least SPRING is coming and then colds and the flu will go on vacation until next winter (with the exception of some stragglers) ;-) Here are some cute springy sayings....:D

Well, I know that obsessions aren't ALL that great, but if you're obsessed with something good (and awesome and amazing and "I would die if it was never invented") is it necessarily bad? ;-) Music is so amazing and I am LOST without it! Those quotes were just random, and I can't find the names of the people that said them, but then again, it doesn't really matter that much...;-) I've recently been playing one of Mendelssohn's violin concertos, and I LOVE it! Music, Madness, Miscellaneous!!!

BUSYNESSSSSSS! Wow! I am glad that my life is FINALLY going back to normal! Classes ALL DAY tomorrow, I get to hang out with my girls...:D Yay! Haven't seen them in a WHOLE WEEK! (Whoa, that's probably a record!)

Dad is making us HOMEMADE PIZZA!!!!!! By the smell of it, it's gonna be YUMMMMY! :D I guess we are gonna watch the Supper Bowl tonight... I DON'T like either of the teams playing, but then again, I'm not a HUGE football fan....(sorry)

FINALLY got out of the House....

Well, since I've been sick for quite awhile, I just got out of the house yesterday after being locked in for 4 DAYS!!!!! That is a LONG time, especially for me....I guess you could say that I loveeee being with friends and just being out and about, but this weather is making it almost impossible to do ANYTHING!

Anyways, check out this video of a group named Nota -- they were on a show called The Sing Off!
A VERY cool and AMAZING acapella group! We are singing one of the songs off of their album called Todo Cambio - but we are singing it in English (I guess that's a "no brain-er").... Their CD is on iTunes, and I would HIGHLY recommend it to EVERYONE!

I'm not a HUGE fan of being snowed in!!! If you know ANYTHING about me, being snowed IN the house is the LAST thing I would like to happen!! ;-) I guess I would rather be snowed OUT of the house! LOL! :D That would be funnnnn! 

If I could drive I would be out there shopping, (in what malls are even still open)!!!!!!!!! :D Well, too bad, I can't drive..... :/ Ahhh, oh well, at least I get homemade waffles for breakfast!!! YUMMMMM!

Coolness......

I went to my friend, Steph Kurin's house last night, and had a lot of fun! We ate food, made food, played games, looked at old pics, and watched the movie A Series of Unfortunate Events!!! I had never watched it but Steph INSISTED that I did, and now I am sooooo glad that I did, it now happens to be one of my favorite movies! If you haven't watched it I HIGHLY recommend that you do!

  I also found out about a VERY strange but VERY cool thing this weekend! It is called bentos. Bento is Japanese for lunchox! And it is like food art! You make little shapes out of cheese, meat, eggs, etc!!!! It is sooo cute, here is a pic!

 Coolness weekend, and it still isn't over!!!! :D Yay! Now, I am getting ready to practice my violin, and then the funnnn starts AGAIN! BOWLING, PIZZA, AND ICE CREAM! My fam is celebrating Dad's Birthday a day early! :D

My BUSY day.....

Today has been VERY busy! Between spending 2 and a half hours in the dentist office, school, cleaning the house, making supper (etc.)!!!!!! Our schedule has been keeping my fam on their toes for the day! Just  sat down and read a book with my fam.... Busy all Friday with school and then spending the night at a friend's house with my sibs!!!! :D Saturday, going to my dad's birthday party and then going BOWLING with my fam!!!!!! :D Sunday, MY DAD'S BIRTHDAY, going to Noble Romans, and having orchestra practice!!!!! :D Then, FINALLY I will get to RELAXXXXX! :D

Wow, my weekend is totally PACKED FULL! I don't know about y'all but I like my life busy! Then, the days go faster and the closer I am for The Hobbit to come out!!!!! :P (sigh) I hate it when the fun stuff in life goes sooo fast and the stuff you wish NEVER would have happened goes on for a LIFETIME! (or that's the way it seems) ;-)

Now, my fam is practicing an acapella song, and it is sounding good! :-) Once we record I will try to put it on as soon as I can!!!!! EXCITED! :D

Well, my LOVELY Saturday is almost over..... I hate it when Saturdays go soooo fast! :/ (sigh) I guess that I just realized that the saying "time flies when you're having fun" is actually pretty accurate!

The fun all started with this morning: I woke up, went into my sister's room, and we watched our favorite scenes from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King!!!! Then, I went to a friend's basketball game, only to find out that one of my besties was playing the same night, too! :D Good job, Bethany and Ash! You both DOMINATE!!!

Now, I am getting ready to have pasta and salad for supper, and then watch Ramona and Beezus!!! I saw it in the theater when it first came out and am surprisingly VERY excited to watch it again! :-0 It's really cute, and I read the books when I was a kid, so it's kinda nostalgic! I am anticipating The Hobbit to come out in December 2011!!! My fam is already saving up to see it 3D in theaters, THE DAY it comes out!!! I can't get enough L.O.T.R!!!!!!!!

In case you don't know, a Haiku is a type of poem that the first line is 5 syllables, the next is 7, and the last one is 5. (5, 7, 5!) So, after MUCH thought, I came up with this!
